Underground
Here’s a new gallery amongst the latest round of additions Underground Gallery. I might have to revise the position of the marker on the google map after I’ve visited!
Over 200
The new format of the site is proving to be popular. We’ve got through the email backlog of site listing requests and now have over 200 listings. If your gallery is still not listed, please get in touch.
Major Site Update
The site has been massively updated. There’s still work to do but the listing pages are simpler and there is now the option to view individual gallery details. I’ve still got a backlog of galleries to add – sorry for the delay!
More Sites Added
12 galleries added and a couple of closed ones removed. Here’s one of the new ones. Image by Yasmin Sandytia is from their current show.
Updates
It’s been too long… we now have 170 galleries listed. Hollywood Road Gallery is one of those just added.
Annie Leibovitz at NPG
Annie Leibovitz: A Photographer’s Life, 1990–2005 threads together the two sides of Leibovitz’s work both chronologically and creatively, projecting a narrative of the artist’s private life against the backdrop of her public image as one of the world’s best-known portrait photographers. Over 150 photographs by the celebrated photographer, encompassing well-known work made on editorial assignment as well as personal photographs of her family and close friends.” More at the National Portrait Gallery website. (ends 1st Feb 2009)
More Sites Added
More sites added, including The National Army Museum, another that I didn’t know existed until I walked past it recently. Total galleries / museums listed is now 155. Get in touch if you want to add another or correct any details.

Eleven New Galleries
I sometimes think I’m getting close to listing all the museums and galleries in London but there are a couple in today’s updates which should have been added a long time ago. The picture shows the Charles Dickens Museum which has been around since 1925 apparently and I’d never heard of it until I picked up a leaflet about the Museum Mile. Anyway, we’re up to a 150 now. photo: Matt from London
